Reservation Guidelines

-- For morning visits, please complete your reservation by 9:00 AM on the day of your visit.
-- For afternoon visits, please complete your reservation by 1:30 PM on the day of your visit.

  • On the day of your visit, please bring your ID card and your reservation number to the ground floor security service desk for admission. For online reservations, please provide verifiable identification details that match the reservation.
  • The Taiwan High Speed Rail Museum is an exhibition facility representing our corporate image, and the entire area is under video surveillance. During your visit, please do not make noise, run, eat, trespass exhibit areas, climb, touch exhibits, and please follow the guidance of museum and security personnel.
  • Starting now, groups of elementary school students, comprising 20 to 80 individuals, may arrange in advance for a brief presentation tour (with a minimum of 20 attendees). The content includes a 5-minute introduction to the high speed rail enterprise and a 15-minute presentation on Taiwan High Speed Rail. After the presentation, you may proceed with your museum visit.
  • Applications for presentation tours should be completed with check-in formalities at least 20 minutes before the reserved time. Tours will be canceled if you arrive late, and you will be redirected to self-guided exploration.

Transportation

  1. High Speed Rail (HSR): Taoyuan Station, Exit 5 - Approximately 5 minutes on foot.
  2. Bus: The following bus routes are available at the THSR Taoyuan Station: 132A, 170, 172, 206, 206A, 208, 210, 302, 302A, 501, 5081, 5087, 5087A, 5089, 707A, L209, L209A, L512, L513, L515, L516A, L605, L605A, and L606.
  3. Taoyuan Metro: A18 THSR Taoyuan Station - Approximately 5 minutes on foot.
  4. Large Vehicles and Tour Buses: Temporary stops are available at Platform 11 of the THSR Taoyuan Station Bus Transfer Center for passenger embarkation and disembarkation (limited to 5 minutes).
  5. The museum is conveniently accessible by public transportation. For those traveling by car, there are paid parking facilities available in the vicinity of THSR Taoyuan Station.

Nearby Attractions:

  • (1) Gloria Outlets: Exit the THSR Taoyuan Station from Exit 6 and walk approximately 5 minutes.
  • (2) Xpark: Exit the THSR Taoyuan Station from Exit 6 and walk approximately 9 minutes.
  • (3) Cyan Pond Park: Depart from THSR Taoyuan Station; the drive is approximately 5 minutes.

A：We do not have an on-site standby entry system. Walk-in visits without reservations are not allowed.
